As a Security Officer Unarmed Badge Patrol in Glendale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access procedures, and help support site rules related to restricted areas, deliveries, and/or after-hours activity.
  • Assist with incident reporting, alarm response, and routine operational checks, while maintaining visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and support day-to-day operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
