As a Security Officer Roving Patrol in Redford, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Support daily operations by observing facility activity, reporting maintenance or hazard concerns, and assisting with traffic flow, vehicle access, and/or post orders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
