Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting observed activity and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional support, and help to maintain orderly movement throughout the location in accordance with site procedures.
• Support emergency and medical-related response protocols by communicating with staff, following post orders, and/or assisting with security-related incident management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
• Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
