As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Artesia, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, process visitor registrations, and document deliveries, vehicles, and/or contractor access in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, parking areas, and other restricted locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Complete required logs, reports, and incident documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access, policy violations, and/or disruptions through visible presence and consistent application of post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
