Job Description


As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a welcoming residential community location. In this role, you will help monitor entry points, verify visitors, manage resident and guest access, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity according to post guidelines.
  • Communicate with residents, property management, and/or first responders regarding access requests, deliveries, and unusual activity at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, and perimeter, noting conditions and reporting security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
