As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, including a primarily driving post, to help support a secure environment. You will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support access control practices, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
• Support a professional atmosphere by providing directions, answering general questions, and assisting with security-related inquiries while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
