As a Security Officer Lobby Concierge in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, patients, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific policies, managing front desk activity, and supporting security-related procedures for the location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception areas by checking identification, verifying appointments and/or authorizations, and documenting visitor entry in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel when needed.
  • Answer questions, give directions, and support a welcoming front desk presence while helping to address security-related concerns and unusual activity.
  • Observe lobby and reception activity, maintain required logs and reports, and communicate clearly with staff and supervisors regarding incidents, visitors, and/or site needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
