As a Security Officer Armed Zone Patrol Driver in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional armed presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, exterior areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor customer and team member activity, report suspicious behavior, and document incidents, hazards, and/or security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Work with local management and/or first responders during emergencies, medical events, and high-priority situations while following post orders and armed post requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess one or more of the following;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of military, law enforcement, or corrections officer experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of employment in an armed security role
  • Current employment with Allied Universal with a minimum of four (4) years armed experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
