As a Security Officer Experienced Armed Patrol Driver in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will drive throughout assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail grocery environment.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor customer and team member activity, report unusual conditions, and support access control, closing procedures, and other security-related operations at the location.
• Interact with customers, staff, and first responders in a professional manner while following post orders and applicable armed post protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience, is required.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess one or more of the following;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of military, law enforcement, or corrections officer experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of employment in an armed security role
  • Current employment with Allied Universal with a minimum of four (5) years armed experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
