The Security Site Supervisor provides daily leadership and oversight of Security Operations within a Healthcare facility for a high-profile customer. This role ensures a safe, secure, and Patient-Centered environment by coordinating Security Services, supporting Clinical Teams, and maintaining compliance with client policies, Joint Commission standards, (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act) EMTALA, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) requirements, and Hospital-specific procedures. The Supervisor serves as the primary liaison between Hospital Leadership, the Security Account Manager, and frontline Officers. promoting a culture of compassion, professionalism, and trauma-informed care.

Pay Rate: $21.50/hr
Security Supervisor experience is required
Active Unarmed Security License required
Hospital / Healthcare experience preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage daily Site Operations; coordinate and/or conduct site-specific on-the-job training, Client-Specific training, and annual refresher training for Security Personnel, as well as meet Allied Universal’s corporate training standards
- Outline task and responsibilities for all Security Officer and lead/supervisory roles
- Ensure that all Post Orders and Operating Procedures are followed and updated as required
- Ensure compliance with First Aid/CPR/AED training requirements
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis as needed and coordinate with client on-site investigations
- Perform access control and Visitor management audits on a daily basis
- Create and update Access Control Clearances as needed
- Complete daily site audits and compile monthly site reports in SharePoint
- Plan, schedule, coordinate, and present basic and site-specific training based on monthly/quarterly training calendar or as requested by the National Training Manager
- Provide information briefings and training sessions in response to Client or Security Account Manager requests
- Maintain technical proficiency in assigned areas by reviewing policies and procedures for all Client locations
- Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement
- Maintain confidentiality of all information and data
- Review all 40 Hour on-the-job and skills testing results for all new hires to ensure proper training has been conducted
- Ensure compliance with all Job Safety Analysis and Safety Orientation requirements for all client locations
- Conduct daily patrol tour reviews
- Conduct quarterly door checks and badge audits
- Communicate staffing needs to Security Account Manager; assist recruiters in identifying, interviewing, and hiring quality candidates
- Develop Staff in both technical and professional skills through performance management (coaching, counseling, disciplining, MSO training, annual formal performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
- Assure that employee grievances are heard and resolved (with help from appropriate support employees, as required) and that personnel records are updated and accurate (Change of Status forms, rosters, etc.)
- Utilize WinTeam for scheduling, and to produce reports (such as Scheduling Activity Report) that require interpretation and action for effective business management
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
- Must be able to pass a state licensing test if you will be driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Post offer, must be able to successfully complete company-provided training related to less lethal methodologies such as handcuffs, baton, OC "pepper" Spray, and/or Taser
- Post offer, must be able to successfully complete company-provided Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification (within 60 days of hire)
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice
- Military, corrections, or law enforcement experience
- Minimum two (2) years of verifiable supervisory experience in the security industry
- Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to use scheduling/reporting software
- Ability to monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms
- Excellent oral and written communication skills ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and clinical staff
- Exceptional customer service and patient-engagement skills
- Ability to remain calm, think critically, and respond effectively during crises
- Strong multitasking and decision-making abilities
- Ability to operate radios, telephones, and security monitoring equipment
- Strong problem-solving, situational assessment, and decision-making skills
- Ability to mediate conflict with tact and diplomacy
- Ability to compile, interpret, and document information accurately
- Commitment to patient-centered service and trauma-informed care
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Customer service experience in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Healthcare or data center security experience.
- Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
- College degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
- Service in any military branch
- Prior military or civilian law enforcement experience
