As a Security Officer Healthcare Screening  in Rancho Mirage, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a healthcare location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and staff, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures for entry screening, access points, and other security-related activities.
  • Screen visitors, vendors, and/or contractors entering the location by verifying authorization, following screening protocols, and directing individuals to the appropriate area.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and medical center concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations by monitoring entrances, observing activity, and communicating concerns to supervisors and/or designated personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities by assisting with directions, access control, and security-related communications during urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Hospital vaccinations are required.
  • Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include the morgue.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals when required.
  • Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
