As a Security Officer Credential Control in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic utilities location, where you will help manage access points, verify credentials, support badge procedures, and monitor activity to help promote a secure and welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and permissions, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with access control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns.
• Support daily operations at a utilities location by helping to control restricted area access, maintaining accurate logs, and communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
