As an unarmed patrol officer in a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and document observed conditions according to post guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and amenity spaces, verify authorized access when required, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Support community rules and post orders by communicating respectfully with residents and/or visitors, addressing routine issues, and requesting assistance from local responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
