Pay Rate: $18.78 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with supervisors and site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support screening and reporting processes in accordance with location policies.
  • Support a professional presence at the location by reporting maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or potential hazards that could impact daily operations or security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
