Job Description


As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Clearwater, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting fast-paced financial and tech-focused locations. In this driving post, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a professional office location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, office floors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and document security-related events, observations, and incidents in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with staff and guests, assisting with directional needs, and reporting maintenance, access control, and other security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
