Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating conflicts and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, common areas, entry points, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by observing arrivals and departures, verifying permissions when required, and documenting visitor, resident, and/or vendor activity according to post instructions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and policy-related issues, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
