As a Security Officer Armed Route Patrol Driver in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or the public by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, screening areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Perform access control and screening-related duties for people entering the location, verifying credentials, monitoring prohibited items, and following post orders for restricted areas.
• Carry authorized armed equipment in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, post instructions, and applicable laws, while maintaining professional presence and readiness for security-related response duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
