Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.50 - $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry, direct foot traffic, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Assist with de-escalation support, routine reporting, and other security-related duties that help promote order within a healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
