As a Security Officer Controlled Entry Driver in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier automotive location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, and support smooth site access for employees and visitors. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide exceptional customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that values integrity, agility, and innovation.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log visitor and delivery activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, parking areas, and perimeter, while observing and reporting unusual activity and/or potential security-related issues.
• Support vehicle and pedestrian access operations by communicating clearly with staff and guests, maintaining accurate records, and following post orders for incoming and outgoing traffic.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
