What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
• Support facility operations by following post orders, communicating with local contacts and/or first responders when appropriate, and completing routine logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess one or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a DD214 with honorable discharge, an associate degree with 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, and/or a corrections academy certificate.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
