Job Description


As a Security Officer Armed Arrestee Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support the public with strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or designated personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document daily activities, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal standards.
  • Support public-facing operations by interacting with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public in a courteous manner while following government location protocols and reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
