As a Security Officer Lobby Attendant in Overland Park, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome guests, manage access, support security-related procedures, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy technology, media, and telecommunications location.
  • Staff the front desk and monitor access by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, issuing visitor passes, and documenting arrivals and departures according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Answer phones, support lobby and reception operations, and communicate clearly with employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel regarding access protocols and site expectations.
  • Complete logs, reports, and other required documentation related to access activity, incidents, and/or front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized entry and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
