Pay Rate: $25.65 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, office areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
  • Support closing and opening routines, observe cash handling and high-traffic areas from a security-related presence standpoint, and provide clear incident information to Allied Universal leadership and/or local responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must have 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
