As a Security Officer Dispatch Lead in Newport News, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor activity, coordinate responses to security-related events, and support daily operations through clear communication and strong attention to detail. This role offers the chance to stay engaged with technology, assist with incident reporting and/or access activity, and deliver service that reflects our agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor communication channels, receive and document calls for service, and coordinate the timely dispatch of personnel to reported incidents, access issues, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying accurate updates to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency services as needed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and dispatch records, and communicate operational information related to delivery traffic, facility access, and other location-specific activity common to an industrial environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter when assigned, noting unusual conditions and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or security-related issues according to site policy.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
