As a Security Guard - Driver Patrol in Amana, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support access activities, and help identify security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and local contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support authorized access for personnel, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies.
  • Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and pass-down communication related to security-related activities, equipment concerns, and/or facility issues observed during the shift.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
