As a Security Officer - Retailer in Santa Fe, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a fast-paced tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas, entrances, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verifying credentials and following site-specific protocols to support authorized entry and protect restricted areas.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols, and assist with follow-up actions in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
