You will support access control activities, assist visitors and staff with professionalism, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time / Overnight Shift 

Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, production spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity to help support authorized entry, report suspicious behavior, and/or follow post orders for deliveries, contractors, and staff.
• Complete routine reports and maintain awareness of changing conditions across the location, helping to support daily operations and/or address security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
