What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance, access control, or property-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and help to enforce site rules regarding authorized access, deliveries, and visitor activity.
• Maintain readiness to serve in an armed post in accordance with site requirements, Allied Universal policies, and applicable laws, using sound judgment during routine duties and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
