As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.53 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to post guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry points, observe building activity, and report maintenance, access control, and/or suspicious issues to property management or designated contacts.
  • Support daily operations by assisting with visitor direction, enforcing property rules, and communicating professionally with tenants, vendors, and/or first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
