As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, conduct screening activities, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while staying visible and responsive. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in alignment with post orders and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, delivery, and/or contractor activity according to location procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations in a logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
