Job Description


As a Security Officer - Hospital Medical in Mangonia Park, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will contribute to a caring, reliable team that puts people first and acts with integrity while responding to daily site needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, disorderly conduct, and/or other unusual activity while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support healthcare operations by assisting with directions, de-escalation, and/or traffic flow during busy periods, visiting hours, or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hospital vaccines are required.
  • Ability to work in a hospital morgue is required.
  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
