As a Security Officer Warehouse Screening Associate in Gaithersburg, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, conduct screening procedures, and support daily operations through visible presence, strong communication, and attentive observation. This role offers the chance to help with security-related concerns while delivering great customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, visitors, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions through appropriate channels.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials or shipping-related documentation as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting operational or security-related concerns as working conditions vary throughout the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
