As a Security Officer Screening Associate in Carol Stream, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and team members, and support access control procedures. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the location, verifying identification, access authorization, and compliance with site entry requirements.
• Monitor entry points and visitor flow, document arrivals and departures, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations with professionalism, following posted procedures and communicating clearly with staff, guests, and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining attentive to security-related concerns within a technology-focused location.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
