As a Security Officer Armed Rover in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including the interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter, while helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and support site-specific protocols related to visitor entry, employee access, and/or after-hours activity.
• Maintain a visible presence while following post orders, handling routine customer interactions, and communicating clearly with law enforcement, emergency responders, and/or management when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
