Job Description


As a Security Officer Campus Driver Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities in a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, entrances, exits, sales floor, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor customer and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and/or report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy concerns to management or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Support daily operations by observing access points, helping with crowd flow during busy periods, and/or maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
