As a Security Officer Access Screening in Lathrop, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic retail location, you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, guests, and team members. You will maintain a visible presence, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and assisting visitors, employees, and vendors at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
• Monitor doors, gates, loading areas, and other restricted points to help to deter unauthorized access, tailgating, and other security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, sales floor areas, stockrooms, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting maintenance, fire, and other security-related issues.
• Support retail operations by documenting daily activity, completing incident reports, and following Allied Universal procedures and site policies during opening, closing, and peak traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
