Job Description


As a Security Officer Armed Arrestee Transport in New Port Richey, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a government location, where you will help monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations in accordance with site protocols, assisting with visitor processing and directing individuals as needed.
  • Support security-related operations by maintaining a visible presence, communicating with local responders and/or site representatives, and following post orders for alarm response, incident notification, and daily activity reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess an armed guard card/license.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
