As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Lockbourne, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry activity, verify credentials, and support orderly site access. This driving post includes operating a company vehicle in accordance with policy. You will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service with clear communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and delivery access, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns and/or unusual activity to the appropriate contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, and perimeter, noting hazards, unauthorized access attempts, and/or other security-related concerns.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry, support orderly traffic flow for trucks and passenger vehicles, and communicate clearly with site personnel regarding access procedures and operational needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
