Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence within post orders and legal guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
  • Work closely with local management and/or law enforcement when appropriate to report concerns, support incident response, and maintain orderly operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
