As a Security Officer Driver Checkpoint Monitor in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials, and support security-related operations through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and document the entry and exit of employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, verifying credentials and following site access protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around docks, trailer yards, gate areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
