As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Bay City, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior in accordance with post instructions.
• Assist with security-related incident reporting, customer assistance, and/or de-escalation efforts while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
