Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, authorize access for approved personnel and/or vehicles, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns by observing gate activity, reporting unusual behavior, and following post orders for restricted areas and shipment traffic.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, adjacent grounds, and perimeter areas to look for security-related issues, damaged barriers, and/or irregular activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
