As a Security Officer Access Monitor in Cowpens, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for guests, associates, and vendors. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine observations, and help discourage security-related incidents through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring entry and exit activity, and supporting authorized access at the location.
• Help to control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by verifying credentials, following post orders, and documenting arrivals and departures as needed.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, stock areas, exterior entrances, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Support retail loss prevention efforts by observing customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, and completing accurate logs and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
