As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in Culpeper, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points, while remaining alert to unusual activity and/or unauthorized access attempts.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas containing sensitive equipment or infrastructure.
• Support technology-focused operations by observing environmental and operational conditions, communicating issues to the appropriate contacts, and assisting with continuity of site procedures during routine and emergency events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
