As a Security Officer Access Control Specialist in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, check in visitors and deliveries, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, yard, trailer areas, gates, and perimeter, with attention to changing conditions across the location.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by observing vehicle movement, maintaining access logs, and communicating clearly with employees, contractors, and transportation personnel regarding site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
