As a Security Officer Armed Site Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Maintain readiness and professional handling of assigned duty gear and firearm in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines, post orders, and applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Possess 3+ years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
