Allied Universal® is hiring a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor. The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor maintains full accountability for the GSOC and its personnel, systems, and procedures to ensure effective and timely response to alarms, calls of distress, incidents, and other activities.

Starting Base Pay Rate: $26.00 / hour
Availability: Sunday to Thursday from 6am - 2pm or Thursday to Monday from 10pm - 6am
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accept, review, and execute temporary and last-minute work orders from client to support effective scheduling and coverage
- Monitor and respond to incoming calls, alarms, and operational communications
- Serve as a liaison between field personnel, supervisors, and management
- Accurately document routine and unusual events through reports and logs (accomplished via shift reports, pass-downs logs, incident reports, incident reports logs, or other established methods)
- Provide guidance to security personnel during routine and emergency situations
- Maintain confidentiality of employee, client, and operational information
- Handle (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information
- Responsible for Portfolio-wide schedule build out and timekeeping operations, ensuring accurate clock-in/clock-out compliance and seamless alignment between client and Allied schedules
- Places uniform orders for the portfolio in accordance with eligibility, sizing, and uniform requirements
- Performs compliance code entry across the portfolio and issues completion certificates directly to employees
- Monitor all security, communications, and fire/life safety systems within the designated region via the provided monitoring systems
- Proactively monitor all surveillance cameras and CCTV remote viewer programs. Monitors and responds to all security/life safety system alarms
- Answer and respond to events and situations received over regular and emergency phones and intercoms; speak clearly, give direction, and provide guidance to employees and security staff during emergencies
- Serve as the liaison between all departments and the security department
- Handle (without delay) complaints and unusual/critical event information to, Account Manager, and Security Director
- Accurately document routine and unusual events occurring on or near the facilities (accomplished via shift reports, pass-downs logs, incident reports, incident reports logs, or other established methods)
- Accurately maintain control of all equipment and keys in the Control Room. Accurately logs all equipment and keys signed out and returned by security, parking, and shuttle bus staff
- Complete “task work orders" for all reported maintenance needs
- Inform (without delay) the Account Manager of any missing, damaged, or inoperative equipment or communications, alarm, CCTV, or other systems
- Control and monitor the two-way communication systems
- Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
- Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
- Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience
- Minimum of one (1) year of working in a Security Operations Center or closely related operation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
- Prior experience supervising or managing a Security Operations Center, Security Communications Center, security/alarm monitoring center or other closely related call center environment
- Military experience
- College degree in management, criminal justice, or related field of study
