Job Description


As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier residential and recreational location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, members, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including amenity areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and assigned areas to help manage access, observe visitor activity, and report maintenance, policy, and/or security-related issues.
  • Support a welcoming residential and recreational environment by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with routine requests while maintaining awareness of property rules and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Possess CPR certification, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
