As a Security Officer Credentialing Specialist in Northampton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will help maintain awareness of security-related activity, communicate clearly, and contribute to daily operations with a people-first approach grounded in teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, credential checks, and/or visitor management activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and site policies for emergency response activities.
• Maintain accurate logs, badges, visitor records, and/or truck or trailer entry documentation while communicating with site contacts regarding access requests and security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, gates, and perimeter zones as needed, noting conditions and reporting maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
