As a Security Officer Visitor Verification in Vernon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and attention to detail while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, caring culture, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, loading zones, and operational spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and conditions that may require security-related attention.
• Support shift operations by maintaining accurate access logs, reporting maintenance or access control issues, and following post orders related to deliveries, contractors, and employee movement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
